This is the place!

To cap off our summer, we traveled to Utah for two weeks. The first week was spent just hanging out at home while Brad did an internship type deal with our family dentist, Dr. Staley. He learned a lot and is looking forward to getting out into the real world of dentistry! Some highlights of that first week are:

• barbecue with my friends from high school... it was great to catch up!
• running a 10k with my mom. It was all down hill so I went fast!
• going to the little aquarium by my house with my mom. Luke loved it.
• Luke getting fed all kinds of foods that are bad for him. Whip cream anyone?
• Lake Powell shopping with the aunties. 6lbs of salami? Is it going to be enough?

The second week Brad finally got to join me for my families annual Lake Powell reunion. Luke did not join us, however. Luke just isn't a very good swimmer yet! Luke got to stay with my awesome aunt and uncle who were so nice to entertain him for the week. We had a great time at Lake Powell. Brad learned to ski and knee board and we also got beat up tubing. I got to catch up with my best cousins. We both loved spending lots of time out on the boats, taking naps, playing games, eating, reading, and just relaxing. I LOVE LAKE POWELL! Now we are back to real life and trying to adjust. Good-bye summer!
